Access
To log in to the VPN, use your company username and password -
Note - Make sure you are not logging in with your email address.
Additionally - Tick Save Password, AutoConnect, And Always Up to maintain access to the company network.
VPN Features - Why do I need VPN access?
Master Builders has security controls to manage internal and external connections. The VPN will provide you access to certain company resources that are not accessible from outside the company network. Some company applications and vendor applications require users to be connected to our company network. Being connected to the VPN also helps synchronize changes that are made on the company network, to your company profile. When changing your account password, make sure you are connected to the VPN.
Note: You will not be able to log in to the VPN when on the company network, as you are connected to the company network already.
Troubleshooting - When to contact the Service Desk
1. Incorrect Username or Password - Always ensure you are signing in with the correct username and password.
If the Status percentage does not exceed 48%, you have entered an incorrect username or password.
2. Password Resets - via the VPN will not work if the new password and the old password do not match. The password reset will also fail if the new password does not meet the current password complexity requirements:
> 16 Characters Minimum, with alphanumeric characters, a capital letter and special character.
> Cannot be a password previously used
> No consecutive numbers (i.e 123)
3. For All Other Issues - please raise a ticket with the Service Desk or call (03) 9411 4555
Roaming Network Access
If roaming is required for access outside of Australia, please discuss this with a manager who will need to raise a ticket with the Service Desk on your behalf.
